# Harry Kane Keeps LaLiga Move an Option as Bayern Contract Talks Continue

Harry Kane continues discussions over a new contract at Bayern but he did not rule out a future move to LaLiga.

 “As we know, anything is possible in football. I’m not ruling anything out, but at the moment, as I’ve already said, I’m very happy in Germany,” he said.

## **Kane Reveals Past Talks About Spain**

Kane acknowledged that a move to Spain had been discussed earlier in his career, although he stopped short of describing those conversations as concrete opportunities.

“I wouldn’t speak of clear opportunities, but there were some talks in the past,” Kane explained.

He also showed interest in Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid, stating that how watching stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi had shaped his appreciation of Spanish football.

Barcelona have been linked with Kane as a potential addition to their attack. However, reported interest from the Spanish club is separate from the striker’s general willingness to consider LaLiga at some stage in his career. 

## **Bayern Contract Discussions Continue**

Kane’s existing Bayern contract runs until 2027, with negotiations under way over an extension. Both sides have indicated a willingness to continue working together. 

According to a *Bild* report relayed by Bavarian Football Works, discussions include extending his stay until at least 2029, while Kane would welcome an additional year through 2030. The structure of a longer agreement remains under discussion, and those reported terms are not a confirmed deal. 

## **Kane Remains Patient Over an Agreement**

Speaking after Bayern’s 5–0 Champions League victory over Bodø/Glimt, Kane cautioned against expecting an immediate announcement.

He said an agreement was unlikely within the following week or two, but expressed hope that discussions could reach a conclusion over the next one or two months. He also described the talks as progressing well and emphasised that his immediate responsibility was to perform on the pitch. 

His comments about Spain should therefore be read as keeping a future option open, rather than declaring an intention to leave Bayern. The distinction matters: admiration for another league does not, by itself, amount to a transfer plan.
