Atlético Madrid’s Believe It or Not: Llorente, Koke and Saúl Face the Facts
A rapid true-or-false quiz asks three Atlético teammates about Morata’s tennis ability, Griezmann’s mate theory and Llorente’s supposed matchday ritual.
Marcos Llorente hears his own name and waits for the verdict.
The card claims that he never enters the pitch without touching each boot twice for luck. Koke and Saúl Ñíguez choose true. Llorente immediately challenges them: how could teammates who know him believe something so unlikely?
The ritual is the trap, not the revelation.
That reversal captures Believe It or Not. Some statements can be checked against a season record. Others depend on stories, habits and how convincingly a detail fits the player named.
How Does Believe It or Not Work?
The embedded 90-second film gives Koke, Saúl and Llorente seven statements about Atlético players. For each one, they choose true or false before the answer is revealed.
The prompts concern Rodrigo Riquelme, Álvaro Morata, Ángel Correa, Llorente, Antoine Griezmann, Koke and Saúl. A goals-and-assists total invites football recall; a claim about pets or a pre-match routine relies on life around the dressing room.
The edit finishes with overlapping discussion of how many answers each player missed. It does not show a full points table, so the trio compare their results informally rather than contesting a documented final score.
Did Riquelme Dream of Becoming a Goalkeeper?
The opening statement says Riquelme plays on the left of midfield but always wanted to be a goalkeeper.
The others reject it. Their reasoning is personal: the idea does not fit the player they know. One answer arrives with the blunt humour of teammates who expect the subject to hear it later.
Morata’s card is more plausible. It asks whether he had once been on course to become a tennis player. The group divide, with one player saying he has seen Morata play but still doubting the scale of the claim.
The film presents the story as true, but only as an anecdote. Without a dated tournament record or testimony from Morata, it should not be expanded into a documented alternative career.
Why Is Correa’s Title-Season Total Different?
Correa’s statement can be checked. The card says he scored nine goals and supplied eight assists in LaLiga during Atlético’s 2020/21 title season.
That is true. The season statistics record nine league goals and eight assists, while Atlético’s account of the final day recalls his equalizer in the 2–1 comeback at Valladolid.
The totals are easy to confuse with all-competition figures, which is why the wording matters. This claim concerns the league alone. Unlike the stories about tennis or routines, it can be resolved through a defined competition and season.
Why Does Llorente Correct His Teammates?
The boot card puts the subject of the statement at the table. Koke and Saúl do not have to reconstruct an old match or judge somebody who is absent; they can watch Llorente’s reaction.
They still choose true, and his protest supplies the film’s clearest joke. In the edit, Llorente’s response indicates that his teammates have fallen for a false claim.
A true-or-false feature works only if the article preserves which side of the reveal was the invention.
What Do Mate, Training and Dobermans Add?
Griezmann’s statement says he believes drinking mate makes him faster. All three reject it. The line is a supposed personal belief, not a scientific proposition about the infusion or athletic performance.
Koke’s card claims that he has completed more training sessions than anybody else in the squad. It sounds measurable but comes without a public dataset. The players must rely on what they have observed rather than a published club record.
The last card says Saúl owns two Dobermans. That detail is supported inside the conversation: a teammate describes seeing the dogs and being frightened when passing them.
A statement may sound statistical, personal or absurd, but tone alone does not reveal which contains the truth.
When Did This Atlético Trio Play the Game?
Betway Arabia uploaded the film on 10 January 2024, and BW Arabia published its accompanying feature six days later. All three participants then represented Atlético.
Koke extended his stay for the 2026/27 season, while Llorente remains in Atlético’s current first-team group. Saúl left after 427 appearances and now plays for Flamengo.
The embedded film therefore preserves one former combination of teammates, even though most questions still work without that later context.
Alongside this archive feature, Betway’s football section provides a place to consult the current match and market selection. Coverage is not uniform across fixtures or territories, and account conditions may further restrict access. Only adults meeting the relevant age and eligibility requirements may participate where local law allows.
Before considering a selection, give any gambling expenditure a defined place within your leisure budget, with an affordable ceiling established in advance. Keep that ceiling fixed and stop when it is reached; trying to recover a loss through another wager risks adding to the expense. Betway’s responsible-gambling tools explain the available controls for deposits, breaks and further restrictions, which can be considered before play begins.
