About Bwgamehub

Bwgamehub is an independent gambling comparison service covering 17 English-language markets where gambling is legal, regulated, or — in a small number of cases — informational-only because local laws restrict promotion. Our goal is straightforward: help readers who have already decided to gamble make safer, better-informed choices about where and how. We are not a gambling operator and we do not take bets.

What we do

  • Compare licensed sportsbooks and online casinos across Malta, Namibia, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, Jamaica, Finland, Cyprus, Andorra, Bermuda, Iceland, Mauritius, Turks & Caicos, and Cape Verde
  • Publish our rating framework — the BWG Rating System v1.0, a public, versioned, six-category weighted methodology
  • Test operators hands-on using real accounts opened from the target market per our testing protocol; per-operator BWG scores publish as each testing cycle completes
  • Explain the regulatory framework behind each market so readers can verify licensing themselves
  • Signpost responsible-gambling resources, including local helplines, on every page

What we do not do

  • We do not publish operator-provided content.
  • We do not accept payment to feature an operator in a comparison table.
  • We do not adjust ratings in exchange for commercial consideration.
  • We do not promote gambling in markets where it is illegal. Content for Bangladesh, Albania, and Norway is informational only; we explicitly do not carry affiliate links there.
  • We do not fabricate quotes, statistics, testimonials, or ratings.

The 17 markets we cover

We prioritise markets by regulatory clarity and content depth:

  • Tier 1 — full commercial coverage: Malta, Namibia, Isle of Man
  • Tier 2 — reduced commercial coverage: Jersey, Guernsey, Jamaica, Finland, Cyprus (sports-only)
  • Tier 3 — informational-focused: Andorra, Bermuda, Iceland, Mauritius, Turks & Caicos, Cape Verde
  • Informational only, no affiliate: Bangladesh, Albania, Norway, Cyprus casino

The tiering reflects regulatory clarity, market maturity, and — where relevant — whether the operator we most commonly cover (Betway) is legitimately available.

Our methodology

Any commercial rating published on bwgamehub uses the BWG Rating System v1.0, which scores operators across six weighted categories: Licensing & Regulation (20%), Sports Markets & Odds Depth (15%), Odds Value (15%), Payments (15%), Mobile & UX (15%), and Player Protection (20%). Scores are produced from real accounts opened in the target market, with evidence logged and the version of the system cited on every published score. See the testing protocol for the test matrix. As of April 2026, per-operator scores are pending first testing cycles.

Editorial values

  • Accuracy over speed. We verify before publishing.
  • Transparency over persuasion. We disclose the affiliate relationship, the methodology, and any conflicts — all on public pages.
  • Specificity over generalities. Claims are sourced, dated, and market-specific.

How we make money

Bwgamehub is independent and free to read. We receive affiliate commission from some of the operators we cover; the full list is on our affiliate disclosure page. Commission does not influence ratings — our editorial firewall and conflict-of-interest policy govern how commercial and editorial work are separated.
